I don't like it. Might be better in person, I hated the new AA livery the first time I saw pictures but I really like it now that I've seen it in person
EDIT: It has split winglets too. Neat

Split scimitar winglets: YES.
Gen 2 canyon blue: HMM.
Red/Yellow: NO.
And for the record, I also thought the new American was shit -UNTIL- I saw it on a 777. My mind was immediately changed. It's definitely a wide body livery, not so much on smaller aircraft.

I've got a scheduled post on this for Monday morning. I'm not crazy about it. It looks too generic. The tail makes me think of a banana. I'll reserve final judgement until I see one in person. I still don't like the new AA livery. Frontier's got a new livery coming out, or at least a modified one. Seems like everybody is going for the full empennage paint job.

Wait, all this hype over a new livery and they chose Helvetica Bold? I would expect more creativity from Southwest. They should play up their Western roots and use Dust West. http://www.1001freefonts.com/dust_west.font
